Shahad Hardan is currently a master’s student in machine learning at the Mohammad bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence. She is working on using artificial intelligence to predict antibacterial resistance. She graduated with the highest honors from Khalifa University, majoring in Applied Mathematics and Statistics. Her undergraduate research involved applying machine learning for population genomics problems. Shahad did two internships before joining MBZUAI. The first is with Abu Dhabi Digital Authority that develops smart government services, and the second is with InterSystems that works with data management and health information systems.
