Otabek Nazarov is currently a master's student in Machine Learning at MBZUAI. Otabek got his bachelor's degree from Grinnell College (USA) where he majored in Physics. He has a diverse academic and professional background. During his undergraduate studies, he researched in the field of biophysics and in the field of chemical reaction networks as a programming language. Upon graduation, he returned to Uzbekistan where he lectured Physics at the university and worked as a geophysicist at a petroleum engineering company.
Otabek is co-supervised by Dr. Karthik Nandakumar and Dr. Mohammad Yaqub and works on explainable AI in medicine. His goal is to strive for excellence and beauty in everything.
