Ivo is a researcher in the BioMedIA group working on developing machine learning-based solutions to tackle Malaria.
I was a master's student enrolled in the MSc in Machine Learning program at Mohamed Bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), Abu Dhabi, UAE.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, this degree was partially founded by a scholarship awarded by the same institution. My main research interest is the application of AI within the biotechnology & healthcare areas. I have experience in product research & development and bioinformatics.
