Diagnostic captioning is the automatic generation of a diagnostic text from a set of medical images of a patient. It can assist inexperienced physicians, reducing clinical errors. It can also help experienced physicians produce diagnostic reports faster. In our project we are working with chest X-ray data to aid radiologists with diagnosing various chest related diseases.
In this project, we aim to develop deep learning methods to automatically generate diagnostic captions for X-ray images for several chest diseases.
