Asma Hashmi

I am doing Master's in Machine Learning at MBZUAI. I did my bachelor's in mathematics from University of Massachusetts Boston.  While I was an undergraduate student in my senior year, I assisted graduate students in machine learning projects such as crime forecasting. After my graduation, I worked in an IT healthcare company for about 3 years. I used Big Data methodologies to augment clinical and financial outcomes for providers. I was also involved in the company’s CareSpace product which incorporated AI solutions in Telemedicine. 

I am glad and excited to be co-supervised by Dr. Yaqub and Dr. Dai in an affordable healthcare project that involves the use of medical imaging in an affordable manner to bring relief to disadvantaged places.
