Coronary Artery Disease, also known as Coronary Heart Disease (CHD), is often caused by the buildup of plaque inside the lining of larger coronary arteries. This causes a blockage of the flow of blood in the arteries and consequently might have significant health consequences on patients' health.
In this project, we use AI to uncover hidden patterns related to CAD and investigate automatic segmentation and quantification of blockage, fat and arteries in CT scans of the heart.
